Stage 1; The technology
The site is run from a database, its fully searchable and automatically managed from a central control panel. Each campsite owner manages their own listing, and can update and change it using a simple control panel. Simplicity was a big factor with this site, and lots of work went into the ease of which sites can be added and updated.

Stage 2; The Mapping
Searchable from a radius from anywhere in the UK. Longitude and latitude values for each location means the site is the UK's first radius searchable directory of campsites. You can plot campsites on a map from any view. This posed many technical difficulties especially regarding the speed the site worked.

Stage3; The Design
Once the technical aspect were solved we set about with a design that was simple, effective, and quick to load.

Stage 4; The Promotion
This is ongoing. The first stage is internal growth of the database, getting campsites to list on the guide. Promotion via emails, letters, and manual entry of listings is being undertaken by erfiedesign on a continual basis.

Stage 5; Public Promotion
This promotion is going to heat up over the coming year, now the site has sufficient listings to make it useful to visitors we will be targeting many search engines with different keywords. The project is constantly changing, and our progress will be updated on the company blog page.
